Originally from Florida, I grew up tanning at the beach, poolside and tanning beds. Then, I had a good friend diagnosed with melanoma. Fearful of how young she was, and that it could happen to me as I am naturally fair skinned, I stopped sun tanning immediately but longed to be tan. I found a healthier alternative with spray tanning.

I offer a beautiful, natural, healthier option to tanning. I chose the best products on the market and carry 5 different lines which provide so many options in terms of color. Their ingredients are organically derived, water-based and dries instantly. There are no harsh chemicals or heavy perfumes. FAQ
What is the difference between the Basic, Rapid and Deluxe tans?
The basic is a traditional spray tan. You leave the solution on for 8-12 hours. Most people "sleep" in it and rinse off in the morning. However, it is important not to get wet, workout, sweat, swim or do anything to your skin while processing or the tan may be affected. The rapid tans allow you to rinse off sooner, 2-6 hours! Once you rinse off, the tan will still take 8-12 hours to develop but it allows you more freedom to get back to your daily activities without affecting your tan outcomes. Plus there are more color options with the Rapid tan. Lastly, the Deluxe is also a rapid tan but the most nourishing and moisturizing tan I offer. Great for those with dry or mature skin. What should I do to prep my skin prior to a spray tan?
The best thing to do is to prep your skin by exfoliating with a mitt or scrub that is water based. This will help remove any soap and lotion residue as well a dead skin cells. You do not want to moisturize, shave, or wear any deodorant before your spray tan; otherwise, this will interfere with the application.
Will I look orange?
NO! The solutions I use provide a natural looking golden to medium brown color. My darker solutions give a warm chocolate color with brown nuances. I also customized the solution to your skin tone and tan ability. Did you know that there are different levels of DHA ranging from 6-16%. I tailor the percentage to your skin for the most natural looking tan. Too high of a % can look unnatural, but never orange with my lines. Please see my gallery for color options and information.
What should I do after my spray tan?
Do Not Get Wet or rinse off before the time told to you by your technician. It is important not to get your tan wet (tears, rain, pool, shower) before the time you are scheduled to rinse off. Wear loose fitting clothes, do not scratch your skin, do not shave until 24 hours after your tan. You will also be provided additional instructions.
Is spray tanning safe?
Spray tanning is a much healthier alternative to sun tanning. DHA, the key ingredient which darkens the skin, was approved by the FDA for use on the skin. Pregnant women should consult a doctor prior to spray tanning. Aviva labs formulas only contains 13 ingredients and is Erythrulose-Free (not FDA approved and used in many other tanners). It is a safer option for spray tanning and why I choose to work with Aviva products.
How long will a spray tan last?
On average a spray tan last 5-7 days. With proper care, your tan can last up to 10 days. Some clients, depending on their skin and care, may have shorter lasting tans from 3-5 days. Your spray tan technician will help offer suggestions to help mitigate those tan issues such as additional tan extenders that you can use to help increase the longevity of your tan; for example, Natural Glow Touch Up spray, Aviva Skin Glow Light Tan Extender and Aviva Shower Glow Body wash.
Will the solution stain my clothes?
My solutions do contain cosmetic bronzers that rinses off. Since these are water-based lines, if the bronzer gets on your clothing it will come off in the wash. However, I advise my clients to wear dark, loose fitting clothing to the appointment. You don't want someone to see bronzer on your clothing as you are processing!
What should I wear during the appointment?
This is one of the biggest questions I am asked at my appointments! You may wear whatever you like and are most comfortable in. I do offer disposable strapless/backless bras and underwear to use; however, you can wear a bathing suit, a bottom only, your birthday suit or a tank top and shorts. I want you to feel secure and comfortable at your appointment. It is nerve wracking to bare oneself to a stranger! I let my clients know that the room is private, secure, with no electronic devices inside (I remove my watch and leave my phone outside the studio during the spray tan). I am also a mom of four--my space is a judgement free zone!
